The website is firmly rooted in the airport’s red, white, and blue brand, and projects both cheer and confidence.
Aviatrix Communications included a variety of industry-leading elements to design a site that is easy to use and easy to manage. The new layout separates traveler information from those seeking to do business with the airport, which provides a cleaner design and improved user experience. For passengers, the website makes the most of BLV’s exciting nonstop destinations, with pages dedicated to each locale. Conveniently located booking engines allow inspired travelers to book their next trip while on the airport site and generate revenue for the airport. We also designed custom terminal maps and a dynamic new Media Center.
The updated flymidamerica.com was built in WordPress, the world’s #1 content management system. The streamlined admin experience allows airport staff to easily make changes, upload new documents, or add pages. The site is also ADA compliant to WCAG 2.0 standards—an essential threshold for every public agency.
